Our School

The original St. Bartholomew’s School was built in the late nineteenth century in West Street. Our present school site was opened by Bishop Jim in 1994 as the school relocated to Kithill. The school serves the market town of Crewkerne, providing an inclusive education of the highest quality for children between the ages of 4-11. Our school day starts at 8.50am and ends at 3.15pm, offering 31¼ hours of learning per week. The children join the school from a variety of preschool establishments in and around the Crewkerne area and usually leave to continue their education at Wadham School.

Our Church

We are a Church of England School and are incredibly proud of our strong Christian ethos and the links with St. Bartholomew’s Church in Crewkerne. We worship in the church several times each year to celebrate a number of events such as Harvest, Christmas and Easter. We hold a daily worship in school and are supported by members of the church and diocese who also lead regular worship sessions:
