If your child will be aged 4 by September 2025 you will need to apply for a school place. Somerset County Council WILL NOT be sending out letters to children due to start school giving information to apply for a school place. You can apply online at: Citizen Portal – Sign in (somerset.gov.uk) applications will go live on 30th September and close on the 15th January 2025; or phone Somerset Direct for a paper copy of the application 0300 123 2224
