Early Help

Sometimes children and their families have needs that go beyond the support we can provide as a school. Where this is the case, St Bartholomew’s Primary School will work closely with other agencies, using Somerset’s Early Help framework, to identify these needs and provide the help that is required.

Somerset’s Early Help framework provides an opportunity for professionals to work together with a child and their family to identify any necessary actions or referrals needed.  It is not a specific service or team, but rather an approach that brings together people from a range of services and teams who will work together with your whole family to help improve the situation for everyone.

It is widely recognised that when children and families receive effective early help, this can make a significant difference for them.
